Shilling steady; remittances, horticulture inflows meet dollar demand

As at 0827 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 101.00/101.20 against the dollar, the same as Monday's close. Traders said the see it trading in the 100.70 to 101.30 range during the day.

The Kenyan shilling was unchanged against the dollar due to balancing out of demand from telecommunication companies with inflows from remittances and horticulture exports.
