According to DailyMail, this property, valued at £250M, might become the most expensive house, ever sold!

Real estate agent, Alexandra Connolly, described is the most expensive property in the French Rivera.

"It's without a doubt the most expensive place on the French Riviera and it's probably one of the most expensive places in the world.

Now we've had 10 years of people coming in and just paying more and more and more and more and more, and now, if the Russians aren't there, there's no real clientele that will come in and can or want to pay those prices", she told Bloomberg.

Buying agent, Henry Pryor, debunked this claim, when he said: "Properties on the French Riviera often start out with record-beating asking prices, but one usually finds that they sell for more modest amounts.

Of course there are many challengers around the world to compete with Villa Les Cedres both in quality and price but this will be the trophy sale of the year assuming that someone actually wants to buy it. There will always be new money that wants to show off on the Riviera but the old money has moved on and now favours the Italian Riviera."

Features of the property include a 50 metre pool, 35 acres of botanic garden, chapel, stables, party room, a concierge, 25 heated greenhouses and a great view of the blue waters of the Mediterranean.

The villa, built in 1830, is located in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, home to amazing waterfront properties, and private beaches.
