Gbuuga was reportedly killed in the early hours of today, Monday, June 1, 2015, at his home in Lessel in the Ushongo Local Government Area of the state.

A youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue State, Ternenge Gbuuga has been murdered by unknown gunmen.

The assassination was reported by state website, Benue.com.ng but has not been confirmed by the relevant security authorities.
It is still unclear who is responsible for Gbuuga’s death and their reasons for carrying out the atrocity.
