According to Kingsley Agomoh, the Assistant Corps Marshal and FRSC Zonal Commanding Officer, RS7, shutting down illegal bus stops will ensure free flow of traffic.

During his visit to the FCT Sector Commander of the corps, Mr Sunday Oghenekaro, Agomoh said this measure would also reduce the misuse of the roads, and check accident.

"The major highways have been converted to bus stops and I want to assure you that we will definitely stop that from the coming week.

The highways should be free; people should not be allowed to turn them to bus stops. It is unacceptable because it is causing crashes.

In fact, Berger Junction, Wuse has been turned into a bus stop, disrupting traffic flow on the highway; we are focusing attention on all these roads,’’ he said.
