"I'm back," declares Lamine Yamal's girlfriend. She once again captured attention at the World Cup
While Lamine Yamal's performances at the World Cup are captivating football fans, his girlfriend's popularity is also soaring at an impressive rate. Inés García knows exactly how to grab attention during Spain's matches.
She proved it once again before the crucial match against Austria, posting a story on her Instagram, where she boasts over 661,000 followers. The photo showed her beaming in a cropped Spanish jersey featuring the 18-year-old footballer's name. She paired the outfit with black jeans and red high-heeled shoes.
She captioned the post "Volviii," which means "I'm back" in Spanish. The influencer had missed the last group stage match as she had to briefly return to her home country. With this photo, she confirmed her return to the USA, where her boyfriend played on Thursday at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
Although he was substituted by the coach in the 85th minute, Spain had already secured their victory, leading Austria 2-0. Luis de la Fuente's squad added a third goal in stoppage time. Despite the substitution, Yamal was named Man of the Match, a fact García was immensely proud of.

Both can now look forward to a World Cup Round of 16 clash, as Spain is set to face Portugal on Monday, July 6th, at Dallas Stadium.
