Female Rapper Gets 6 Nominations At AMAs

Female rapper Iggy Azalea has bagged the highest amount of nominations at the American Music Awards.

These categories include; Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, Favourite Female Artist Pop/Rock, Favourite Artist Rap/Hip Hop, and Favourite Album Rap/Hip Hop.

John Legend, uber producer Pharrell and Katy Perry clinched five nomibations. Singer Lorde from New Zealand got four nominations.

The AMAs will take place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on November 23.

The American Music Awards nominees and winners are chosen by the public, who vote online and via Twitter.
