The Denver Nuggets suffered a 119-114 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 2 of their playoff series, despite holding a 19-point lead. This defeat means Nikola Jokic and his teammates have conceded home-court advantage, with the next game scheduled for Thursday night into Friday morning, Serbian time.

However, what's truly buzzing across America isn't just the Timberwolves' incredible comeback, but the scandalous and brutal statement from Minnesota player Jaden McDaniels, who, after the game, harshly criticized Nikola Jokic and the Denver defense.

Attack Jokic, Jamal, all those bad defenders... Tim Hardaway, Cam Johnson, Aaron Gordon, the whole team! Just go at them. Yes, they are all bad defenders. They don't have guys who can protect the rim. Even if Jokic is there, we are much more athletic than them. We just need to be able to finish at the rim when we break them down. Jaden McDaniels

These words landed like a bombshell, especially considering Denver controlled most of the game and was on the verge of taking a 2-0 series lead. Yet, Minnesota tightened its defense in the final stretch, while Denver's offense completely stalled.

The series now shifts to Minneapolis tied at 1-1, and there's no doubt McDaniels' comments will serve as extra motivation for Nikola Jokic and his teammates to show who truly runs the court.
