Henry Cejudo and Merab Dvalishvili are set to clash once again on the wrestling mat.
The two will face off in a rematch for the RAF Lightweight title at RAF 12, scheduled for August 22nd at the Rocket Arena in Cleveland. This highly anticipated bout will serve as the main event of the evening. The news was officially announced by the RAF organization in a press release on Saturday.
The organization also confirmed that the fight between former UFC title contender Colby Covington and former champion Belal Muhammad, originally slated to headline RAF 12, has been moved to RAF 13. That event will take place on September 19th in Miami, with the RAF Welterweight title on the line.
Cejudo and Dvalishvili previously met on the mat in the main event of RAF Georgia, held on July 11th at the Tbilisi Arena. Cejudo initially took an 8-0 lead, but Dvalishvili mounted an impressive comeback to secure the victory in his home country. Dvalishvili's record in RAF stands at 2-0, while Cejudo's is 1-1.
This will mark the third encounter between the two former UFC champions. Their first clash was on the main card of UFC 298, where Dvalishvili emerged victorious via unanimous decision.
