Hansi Flick: The PSG match is a great opportunity to show how good we are

Barcelona have been the standout team in Europe this season, winning all 11 of their matches with remarkable scoring prowess. Now, the Catalans face Paris Saint-Germain, the dominant force on the continent over the past two years. The Champions League matchday three encounter takes place on Tuesday night at 20:00 GMT at the Parc des Princes. Here is what Barca head coach Hansi Flick had to say to the media ahead of the clash:

What are the differences between the current PSG and Barcelona squads?
It comes down to maturity. Over the past few years, they have grown as a team. What they have achieved is impressive. In their last match, they managed to stage a comeback in just a few minutes. That shows the quality they possess. Plus, they have fantastic players on the bench as well.

Which fixture is more important – this one or El Clasico?
The next game is always the most important one. So, tomorrow's.

Last year's defeat to PSG at Montjuic
It was tough. This season, right from the start, we have been playing the way we want to. We are a team with confidence that controls the ball. We will see what happens on Tuesday, but we are ready. My players are excited to face PSG – a fantastic team. It will be a great opportunity to show how good we are.

Raphinha
He will be in the starting lineup.

How is Gerard Martin? What are your options in defence?
Frenkie de Jong can play in defence, and Alex Campos is also with us. I'm sure everything will be fine. Maybe the timing isn't ideal, but we have to accept it. We hope Jules Kounde will be ready for the weekend.

Does this upcoming match feel like a final?
I think it will be a good test. I want our team to play with confidence, like a side that has won their last 11 games. We are facing the best team in the world over the last two years. For us, this is a great opportunity.

Luis Enrique
His team plays fantastic football, and he is one of the best coaches in the world. I love the intensity of his side, their pressing, the way the players rotate positions, and the flexibility of his system. At this level, they are incredible. They are doing a fantastic job.

The battle for possession
The midfield will be crucial. Both teams have excellent players in that area. If we keep the ball, they won't be able to score against us. It will be vital not to make mistakes, as PSG are an extremely clinical side. We will need to stay completely focused.

You concede goals frequently
It's always a risk playing with a high defensive line, but when we lose possession, we react, fight, and press. We've scored a lot of goals.

Your 100th victory in charge of Barcelona is within reach
When we started here, we said we were ready. It has been a long journey. I appreciate the respect and affection from the Barca supporters – they are incredible. When you win, everyone is happy. I think the team is doing very well. I am extremely proud. The players returned after a long World Cup campaign. People thought they might not be at 100%, but they are in excellent shape. It's amazing to watch them in training and feel the atmosphere in the dressing room.

The controversy surrounding Arda Guler in Real Madrid vs Sevilla
That is not a question for me.
