Red Bull officially confirmed today that their French driver, Isack Hadjar, will miss this weekend's Dutch Grand Prix, marking the resumption of the Formula 1 season.
The team announced that Hadjar is suffering from a wrist injury and confirmed the widely anticipated news that Liam Lawson would replace him. Yuki Tsunoda, the reserve driver, will take Lawson's place at Racing Bulls for the Zandvoort race.
Initially, it was believed Hadjar sustained the injury during a gym workout, but according to BBC Sport, his injury occurred during a boxing training session.
Sources from the British media outlet claim Isack has a broken hand, with the fracture now confirmed to be in the wrist area. However, it has not yet been confirmed whether it's his right or left hand that is affected.
