Haaland: That's usually how it goes, I'm starting to think it's a gift from God
Norway's prolific striker, Erling Haaland, who netted twice in the victory over Brazil to take his World Cup tally to seven goals, admitted his sole focus is to remain sharp, knowing that an opportunity will eventually arise, leading to a goal.
"That's usually how it goes. If I get one or two chances, they typically end up in the back of the net. I don't know how I do it, but that's what happens, so it's all about staying focused. I tell myself that the chance will come. When it does, I know exactly what to do. I think I'm starting to realize now that it's a gift from God.
We keep pushing forward. I hope all these young people watching this interview, when they grow up a bit, will see playing for Norway as the greatest pride you can experience in your life. It's absolutely insane," Haaland stated.
