Google is best known for its search result page which has changed a lot over the years, save for the plain white background, 10 links per page , and the blue site links.

However, a report from Innovation Village says the blue site links may be turned to black in the near future.

The Telegraph of London had earlier reported that Google was testing black links, with some users also reporting that their search results are appearing in Black.

"We are always running many small-scale experiments with the design of the results page. We're not quite sure that black is the new blue," Google said, in a comment on the possible change, according to Innovation Village.

The implementation of the changes will largely depend on raw test data and public feedback but don't be surprised if the changes do become permanent.
