In an interview with the media officer of the Super Eagles, Toyin Ibitoye, the French-German coach revealed that he watched 25 live games at AFCON 2017.
“I was happy to be there because I saw 21 live games,” Rohr said in the interview on the Super Eagles official Youtube page.
“It was a very good experience, a good level of football.
“I did analysis about general the level of African football because it was 16 teams and there the best in Africa.
“The best team won, Cameroun, there were really the best team and had the best team spirit.
Rohr has since returned to Nigeria after AFCON 2017 and was present in Sagamu to watch a Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) game between Remo Stars and Niger Tornadoes on Wednesday, February 8.
