Author of Game of Thrones confirms he cannot finish is not writing any book before Season 6
Winter is not coming anytime soon and here is the sad news:
Everyone waiting on “The Winds of Winter,” Martin’s 6th installment in the “A Song Of Ice And Fire” book series on which HBO’s “Game Of Thrones” is based, should feel sad right now.
In a lengthy blog post to kick off the new year, author George R.R. Martin confirmed that his new book in the A Song of Ice and Fire series, The Winds of Winter, will not be completed before Season 6 of the HBO show, "Game of Thrones" -- and that the show will spoil the books.
"You're disappointed, and you're not alone," he wrote. "My editors and publishers are disappointed, HBO is disappointed, my agents and foreign publishers and translators are disappointed... but no one could possibly be more disappointed than me." Martin wrote in a post on his Live Journal.
“For months now I have wanted nothing so much as to be able to say, ’I have completed and delivered THE WINDS OF WINTER’ on or before the last day of 2015. But the book’s not done.”
“Look, I have always had problems with deadlines,” Martin wrote. “For whatever reason, I don’t respond well to them.”
Well, we forgive you just hurry with the books okay!
We are waiting!
