The French national team has arrived in Miami from their Boston training camp for the World Cup third-place playoff match against England, AFP reported. Following their elimination by Spain in Dallas and a final training session at their Boston base, the French delegation has now permanently departed the camp where they had been preparing since June 10.
Around a hundred fans awaited the French team as they left their hotel, while the staff bid them farewell, waving French flags. Only head coach Didier Deschamps, who will lead the team for the final time this Saturday night, stopped to sign autographs.
Today, Deschamps is scheduled to hold a press conference alongside one player from the squad, after which the team will conduct their final training session at Inter Miami's stadium.
