The incident occurred on July 16th, around 8:00 PM local time. According to reports, the store owner alerted police after a man took a bottle of vodka without paying and left the premises.

She stated that the 38-year-old Lawson took a swig from the bottle right outside the store before heading to a nearby establishment. There, he sat at the bar, still clutching the stolen bottle. The witness informed authorities that the basketball player appeared heavily intoxicated, stumbling as he walked.

Upon arrival, officers apprehended the man, who was subsequently identified as Ty Lawson.

This is far from the first such incident involving the former player. Over the years, he has been arrested multiple times on various charges, including domestic violence, driving under the influence, and disorderly conduct in public.
