An elderly couple from Tracy, California, hit a milestone many couples dream of reaching but haven't been successful.

Nicholas and Rafaela Ordaz celebrated 82 years of marriage last weekend. Their children, grandchildren, great grandchildren who also have children all attended the wedding anniversary party.
It was also a double celebration for the Ordaz family because Nicholas turned 102 years old a day before their anniversary.

The couple said the secrets to their long-lasting marriage are 'respect, affection and not sweating the small stuff', ABC News reports.
