The festival saw a good turnout with a notable guest appearance being that of Cool FM OAP, Freeze.

The organisers can pat themselves on the back for finding that perfect blend between all cultural elements made available on the day - local dance, face marking, masquerade dance, chants, fire dancing, sales of African-print fabrics and of course some amazing food and drink.

The pineapple rice especially stays firmly in mind for its novelty and for its combination of tropical essence with the goodness of rice as we’ve always known it.

The food and culture festival 2017 was actually a good one and we expect it to only get better from here.
