Kenny Bayless appointed referee for May 2 fight

Bayless who is a  veteran of countless big fights in Las Vegas, is widely considered the best referee in the world.

He will be celebrating his 65th birthday two days after the fight.

Bayless' appointment has been welcomed by both camps.

Glenn Feldman, Dave Moretti and Burth Clements have also been chosen as three wise men which will be scoring the fight.

This is not the first time Bayless will be officiating a fight that involves Floyd Mayweather  and Manny Pacquiao.

Bayless was the man in center when Mayweather faced Marcos Maidana and in the Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez.
