On Saturday (March 28), Floyd Mayweather attended the Sebastian Fundora vs. Keith Thurman fight night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. In an interview with "Vegas Sports Today," he revealed new details about his upcoming Netflix event and the bout with his long-time rival Manny Pacquiao, scheduled for September 19 in Las Vegas.

"At the moment, we don't know exactly where the fight will take place," Mayweather stated. "We don't know the venue. The Sphere was one of the places mentioned, but it's not 100 percent certain it will be there."

Mayweather then casually added, "And this isn't actually a real fight, it's an exhibition."

This news comes as a surprise, as Mayweather was expected to use planned exhibition matches against 59-year-old former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson (April 25) and Greek kickboxer Mike Zambidis (June 27) to earn money and get in shape for the rematch against Pacquiao, whom he defeated by unanimous decision in 2015.

"While I'm sitting at home, training every day, spending time with my grandson and my children, I thought, 'Why not go out, have some fun, and do a few exhibition matches?'" he said. "And that's exactly what I'm going to do," stated the 49-year-old former world champion.
