Fire outbreak under Eko-bridge and market in Apongbon, Lagos

The fire, which is currently raging, has caused a gridlock on the Eko bridge.

According to a source, the incident happened around 7am, Wednesday, March 23, 2022.

The cause of the inferno is yet to be determined.

Motorists have been urged to ply alternative route following the reports of the fire which gutted some vehicles under the Eko Bridge.

As of the time of filing this report, the federal and Lagos fire services are at the scene of the incident, trying to put out the fire.
