Cristiano Ronaldo leads 11 of his teammates on the 2017 FIFPro World 11 nominees’ list released on Wednesday, September 20.

Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Luka Modric and Isco are also some of the Real Madrid players nominated. Pepe who left Real Madrid this summer to Besiktas also makes the list.

Barcelona and Bayern Munich are close behind with eight nominations apiece.

Premier League are represented by the likes of Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Harry Kane of Tottenham.

The nominees are selected and voted by professional footballers.

The winners will be announced on Monday, October 23 at the Best FIFA Football Awards.

Former Monaco star Kylian Mbappe is the youngest player in contention at the age of 18.
