Cameroon midfielder Alex Song has reportedly apologized to the nation's fans after his red card in Wednesday's defeat to Croatia. Song was compelled to say SORRY following his first-half dismissal."I'm very sad at the moment as I feel I have let my country and myself down,” he said in a statement."It was a stupid moment and I’m truly sorry. If I could do anything to take it back I would. Please forgive me."

Cameroonian football midfielder Alexander Song will go down in history as the first African player who used his elbow and almost crippled a white player on the pitch.

It was not only sad that his team, the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon were losing 1-0 against the vibrant and well experienced Croatian site but his sudden red card has made him the laughing stoke of Africa!
