The Super Eagles of Nigeria has suffered a massive drop in the just released FIFA Ranking.

National team of Nigeria are now 59th in the ranking released on Thursday, November 5.

After two static months on 53rd position, the Super Eagles moved up in the October ranking to 5nd.

In the November ranking, they suffered a massive drop (seven places) to 59th place  their poorest drop since April 2014.

The slip also sees them drop to 12th place in the African ranking.

Cote d’Ivoire remains top in Africa, with Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde Island, Senegal, Tunisia, Cameroon, Congo, Guinea, Congo DR and Egypt all above Nigeria.

In the month under review, the Sunday Oliseh led Super Eagles lost 2-0 to DR Congo in an international friendly before beating Cameroon 3-0 all in Brussels, Belgium.

In the world ranking, Belgium are number one overtaking Germany and and Argentina who are second anf third respectiverly.

Portugal and Chile make up the top five.

Spain, Colombia, Brazil, England and Austria make up the top ten.
