Gresini Ducati rider Fermín Aldeguer has received clearance from MotoGP doctors to participate in tomorrow's first free practice session ahead of the Aragon Grand Prix, after which he will undergo a further medical review.
The Spaniard, who signed with the VR46 team for the next two seasons yesterday, sustained a serious injury during official practice before the Dutch Grand Prix at the end of June. Consequently, he missed not only the sprint and main race at Assen but also the weekends in Germany and Great Britain.
Now, however, Aldeguer will attempt his return at MotorLand Aragón, host of the 13th round of the 2026 MotoGP season. Before this event, the Gresini Ducati rider sits 11th in the overall standings with 76 points, having missed a total of four rounds since the start of the year.
