According to a report by TheCable, the duo made peace on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Airtel Touching Lives season 3 premiere.

It was reported that Airtel Nigeria's director of corporate communications, Emeka Oparah and Lagos State commissioner for information, Steve Ayorinde facilitated the reconciliation process after the two disagreed on a live radio programme.

Mabiaku and Adesina shook hands, smiled, and also posed for photographs with their mediators.

Mabiaku had walked out of a show on Lagos-based 91.3FM after complaining that Adesina was rude to him when he tried to make his point on the radio show.

Mabiaku had demanded an apology from Adesina but the President's spokesman had refused.
