Coach Fernando Sá will once again have a familiar face on his roster as they aim to defend their national championship title in the 2026/27 season.

The 29-year-old, standing at 6-foot-9, previously played for the blue and white during the 2024/25 season. That year, he was instrumental in securing both the Portuguese Cup and the Supercup, averaging over 13 points and six rebounds per game.

"Coach Fernando Sá was a huge part of my desire to come back. I spoke with him, he gives me a lot of confidence. I saw the success he had, and we all know he's a great coach and a great person. He brings out the best in all his players, so it was an easy decision, and he's one of the main reasons," the player explained.

Last season, Williams played for Tycoon in Hong Kong. His return to FC Porto, who in 2025/26 broke Benfica's streak of four consecutive championships, strengthens the Dragons' international contingent.

"I'm going to keep doing what I always do, nothing has changed. I'm the same Xeyrius, and I'm back to try and win another championship," he vowed.
