The Falconets of Nigeria have been drawn against Tanzania for the qualifier for the 2018 FIFA U-20 Women’s Cup holding in France.

FIFA on Thursday, June 15 held a draw at their headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.

For the qualifier, the Falconets will be facing Tanzania. They will host Tanzania on the weekend of September 15-17, 2017 before travelling to Dar es Salaam in Tanzania for the return leg on the weekend of September 29, 30 to October 1, 2017.

Nigeria have been to eight FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup tourneys, coming second in Germany 2010 and Canada 2014, their best finish in history.

If they beat Tanzania on aggregate, the Falconets will face either Morocco or Senegal on the weekend of November 3-5 and the return leg in the weekend of November 17-19.

At the last World Cup in Papua New Guniea, the Falconets crashed at the group stage.
