On Friday, the EuroLeague's two All-First and All-Second Teams were announced, notably without any players from Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet or Partizan.

The All-First Team features Sylvain Francisco, Dzian Montero, Elijah Bryant, Sasha Vezenkov, and Nikola Milutinov. The All-Second Team consists of Kendrick Nunn, Wade Baldwin, Tyler Dorsey, Taylon Horton-Tucker, and Walter Tavares.

However, the most significant buzz among the public and players stemmed from Thursday's award ceremony, where Alpha Diallo was named Defensive Player of the Year. Immediately following the announcement, Wade Baldwin voiced his dissatisfaction, expecting his teammate Nikola Melli to receive the honor.

Walter Tavares quickly echoed Baldwin's sentiments.

You try to please everyone, but it's impossible. The numbers are there. – Walter Tavares

Melli, incidentally, finished second in the voting, with Tavares in fourth. Thomas Walkup secured third place, and Jerian Grant rounded out the top five.
