1. Manchester City 6 Vs Newcastle 1: Sergio Aguero can fire City to title
Sergio Aguero was imperious on Saturday, October 3 scoring five goals in Manchester City's 6-1 thrashing of Newcastle.
City as a unit struggle when the Argentine is not on form and with him hitting target, the English Premier League trophy will be sitting pretty in the Etihad come May.
City's main problem remains what will happen to them when the crooked striker gets injured again.
Wilfried Bony has not shown that he can be a dependable deputy to Aguero, so City have to look for a way to keep the Argentine fit.
2. Bournemouth 1 Vs Watford 1: Odion Ighalo deserves our respect
The Nigeria international has now scored 21 goals in 2015, more than any player in the English top four leagues and his fourth of the season.
Despite this record, Ighalo has not been given the befitting credit both in England and here at home in Nigeria.
Ighalo's exploit for Watford last season, helping Watford to promotion to the EPL from the Championship was overlooked while his partner Troy Deeney has taken all the credit.
He was not even included in the Championship team of the year.
Back at home, Ighalo has also not been shown enough respect.
He was left out of Sunday Oliseh's list for the 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Tanzania despite being the most informed Nigerian striker.
Maybe being below the radar helps Ighalo performs better.
Whatever way, Ighalo deserves our respect.
3. Chelsea 1 Vs Southampton 3: Jose Mourinho has lost the plot
There have been unsure talks about Jose Mourinho's inability to deliver in his third season, now it is confirmed.
He doesn't stay that long at a club for people to notice this, but with Chelsea's poor show so far this season, Mourinho seems not be able to inspire his team for than two season.
He comes in, shapes his team in his first season without guaranteeing success and sweep almost everybody in his part in his second season.
This is a pattern that has followed him everywhere from Chelsea (his first stint), Inter Milan and RealMadrid.
Mourinho and Chelsea's failures this season are not solely on the actions of this season. A line of action has led to this calamitous season.
Most of the players Mourinho has yanked out of the club are exactly what they need now. JuanMata, Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku are exactly the type of players need now. But Mouinho has sent them away from the clubs for the likes of Pedro.
It is one thing to win in your first two seasons, it is another to build a team that can consistently dominate for years. This is why the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson, Carlo Ancelotti and Arsene Wenger are respected.
Mourinho has often complained how Wenger is being treated like royalty despite not winning major trophies for a long time.
He has to fix Chelsea this season and continue winning to the next, to get that kind of respect.

4. Everton 1 Vs Liverpool 1: Brendan Rodgers was not worth it
Rodgers was lucky not to be sacked last year after a poor finish to the season but was also lucky to have gotten the Liverpool job.
The Irish was disappointing at Anfield. I personally did not see his impact at the club at any level.
People talk about his best year in 2013/2014 when he nearly won the league. But I don't think he had anything to do with it.
That team excelled due to the brilliance of their main players that year. From Luis Suarez, Daniel Sturridge, Philippe Countinho and Steven Gerrard, Liverpool had players whose brilliance sustained them at the top.
That could not be said about their manager. That attack could do everything on its own, what they needed was a coach to teach them how to defend, make them compact and concede less goal. Rodgers failed them.
He was a dead man walking before his sack, now Liverpool can go on and get a better coach.
5. Arsenal Vs Man United: Alexis Sanchez can be EPL's man of the year
Eden Hazard was the EPL's main man last season, winning every available Player of the Year award.
The Chelsea forward is often compared with Arsenal's frontman, Alexis Sanchez.
This is not to compare them, but to say that Sanchez could be Arsenal's Hazard of last season and even better.
The Chilean was at his best over the weekend scoring two goals and being a constant menace to the United defence.
Arsenal will have to be very close to the top of the EPL table in May for Sanchez to be rewarded individually, but with his present, the 26-year-old is set to be EPL's man of this season.
