Enyimba football club of Aba have been rewarded with a whooping sum of N30m for winning the 2015 Nigeria Professional Football League.

The People’s Elephants won their seventh league title with 70 points from 38 games beating Warri Wolves, Giwa FC of Jos and Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi to second, third and fourth respectively.

Chief sponsors of the NPFL, Glo have rewarded the People's Elephant with N30m which is the the highest ever prize money for a Nigerian club.

Club captain Chinedu Udoji collected the cheque from Mallam Shehu Dikko, the chairman of the League Management Company, (LMC) organisers of the NPFL.

Enyimba will represent Nigeria at the CAF Champions League with Warri Wolves who finished second.
