Enyimba receive their NPFL trophy

Glo have congratulated the players, coaches and management of Enyimba FC for their hard work and determination

The chief sponsors of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Glo have sent their congratulations to the 2015 champions, Enyimba.

The People’s Elephants won their seventh league title with 70 points from 38 games beating Warri Wolves, Giwa FC of Jos and Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi to second, third and fourth respectively.

Globacom, in a statement issued in Lagos on Monday congratulated the players, coaches and management of Enyimba FC for their hard work and determination which lifted them from the middle of the table which they occupied for most of the first half of the season to winning the NPFL.

“We wish to congratulate the LMC for its out- standing organisation of the league. We urge them to keep the flag flying,” part of the statement read.

“We also wish to congratulate the players, club officials, match officials and fans for their collective efforts that made the season to witness little or no hitches.”

The quartet of Kwara United, Sharks of Port Harcourt, FC Taraba and Bayelsa United were all relegated.
