Showing off his notable R&B influences, Eli Jae displays impressive penmanship with an effortless ability to mold melody in the sensual, calm, and stimulating way that drives R&B.

On the opening record 'You', he combines English, and Pidgin as he smoothly flows on a punchy baseline that blends Afrobeats and Garage elements.

Like an R&B star, he sensually pleads his case to his lover while skillfully using his vocals to drive the track's sonic appeal.

The lush strings and drums combine to show Dancehall and Gospel influences on a 'Most Beautiful' on which Eli Jae delicately weaves melody and rolls out the superlatives for his love interest.

The Dancehall bounce is more pronounced on 'Ctrl' on which Eli Jae shows versatility as he blends Patois flows and R&B melodies through a simple yet effective use of English and pidgin for another stimulating record.

Eli Jae might be new to the scene but his music packs the musicality and lushness of an artist who spent several years honing his skills.

He displayed impressive flashes of this talent on 'Blend' and there's no doubt that there's more to come should he continue to push himself.
