The tragedy caused outrage nationwide with many demanding that Moro be dismissed and prosecuted.

The EFCC has also questioned former NIS Comptroller General, David Parradang, on the issue.

An earlier report had it that the NIS allegedly remitted only N45m out of the funds generated from the process.

Parradang was suspended by President Muhammadu Buhari on August 21, 2015 for conducting an unauthorized recruitment into the NIS.
