Nigeria's senior basketball team receives N600, 000 from Buhari

Nigeria's Basketball team D'Tigers have been rewarded with the sum of N600,000 for winning gold at the Afro-Basketball Championship.
It was an historic moment for Nigeria, who stunned Angola 74-65 for their maidenAfroBasket
Angola were overwhelming favourites to claim a 12th African trophy but the D'Tigers shocked African to win the trophy.
The victory also secured Nigeria's qualification for the men's basketball event at this year's Olympic Games in Rio De Janeiro.
Hosting Nigerian athletes who have made Nigeria proud in their various categories, President Muhammadu Buhari rewarded the team with the sum of N600,000.00.
Coach of the D'Tigers William Voigt and his crew were also rewarded with the sum of N600,000.00 while the Team officials were given N250,000.00.
