Man stabs his wife repeatedly as she took her bath

A 63-year-old man, identified as Kam Hing Wong, has been arrested by the police on the charge of attempted murder after he attacked his 56-year-old wife with a knife.

Wong was said to have stabbed his wife 20 times while she was having her bath. The woman managed to fight him off and made it out of the house naked and bleeding.

The neighbours quickly alerted the police, who swung into action and arrested the assaulter.

Wong has been charged for attempted murder and domestic violence without an option of bail. The incident happened in Monterey Park, California.

Meanwhile, no comments concerning the reason for the violent attack has been given by the security authorities.
