West Ham star set to sign new £125,000-a-week deal

Just less than year after joining
The Frenchman has been in fantastic form since joining and has become the star of the Premier League club.
Payat is set to be rewarded with a new deal which is worth £125,000 a week.
This is to keep the 28-year-old at the club following interest from Chinese Super League side Shanghai Shenhua.
The club were willing to offer a £38million fee and £135,000-a-week wages after tax.
West Ham coach, Slaven Bilić has revealed that the Hammers have offered the forward a new deal.
“We are very, very close to signing because both parties have the same intention and that's to stay at West Ham,” said Bilic.
“We will do everything to make that happen. In one hand every player has a price but he is happy and we are more than happy and I hope, and think he will be with us for a long time.”
