Charles Johnson will face a new opponent at UFC 330 in Philadelphia after his original adversary pulled out. Jose Ochoa is off Saturday night's fight card due to injury. However, Charles Johnson remains on the card, as the organization quickly found a replacement in Eduardo Chapolin.
The news was confirmed Wednesday on the event's official page, following Johnson's own announcement on social media. UFC 330 will now proceed with 12 bouts, including two championship clashes: Islam Makhachev vs. Ian Machado Garry and Mackenzie Dern vs. Gillian Robertson.
Chapolin (15-2) last fought in November 2025, where he defeated An Tuan Ho by decision on Dana White's Contender Series but did not secure a contract at the time. The former LFA flyweight champion also participated in Season 33 of "The Ultimate Fighter" in 2025.
With his next octagon appearance on August 15, Johnson (19-9) will become the most active fighter in the UFC, averaging a fight every 98 days. He already has three bouts in 2026 – a win over Bruno Silva, sandwiched between losses to Asu Almabaev and Alex Perez.
