Despite the interest from Real Madrid, Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea resumed pre-season training his teammates ahead of the next season.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper was pictured arriving Manchester in the early hours of Monday, July 6 after spending a short break in Madrid.

David de Gealanded at Manchester Airport overnight ahead of pre-season training with the Spain international still a primary target for Real Madrid this summer.

After hitting some of the most exotic locations in the world for their vacations, other Manchester United players were seen driving into the club's Carrignton HQ on Monday morning to kick off preparation ahead of next season.

Louis van Gaal is looking to bolster his squad after signing Dutch forward Memphis Depay who was also seen arriving the training ground to kick off training.

Real Madrid have not made an official bid for Manchester United's goalkeeper De Gea who is keen to move to the La Liga giant.

United however have also expressed their interest in Real Madrid defender, Sergio Ramos who is feeling undervalued by the 10 times European Champions.

The Old Trafford club have had a £35m bid rejected for the central defender by Real Madrid as he we look forward to the transfer drama surrounding the future of De Gea and Ramos.

Striker Robin van Persie was also seen arriving the Mmanchester United training ground as he continues to linked with a move away from the club.
