Dangote cement plant in Ethiopia is coming after Senegal, Cameroon, South Africa and Zambia. It is the fifth plant to be commissioned, in one year.

Our source, who got the invitation for the commissioning of the Dangote cement plant in Ethiopia, says dignitaries and guests from Nigeria, will be flown to and fro the event on the bill of the company.

The commissioning ceremony is slated to hold in Ethiopia, on Thursday, June 4th,2015, and the Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Mr. Haile Mariam Desalegne, will perform the opening ceremony.

A diplomat who chose to speak under anonymity said:  “I am very proud of what Dangote is doing by promoting intra-African investments, promoting regional development, industrialisation and cohesion among African nations with his investments.”

Recently, the Senegalese government offered to help the $300 million Dangote Greenfield cement plant in anyway it requires.
