According to Spanish financial paper El Economista, Nike is waiting for their contract with Ronaldo to expire and are set to replace him with Neymar.
Ronaldo at 30, Nike feel is beginning to lose his form while Neymar at 23 is entering the peak of his career.
Nike have reportedly been considering the switch since the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, but opted to wait until Neymar, who scored at the Bernabeu, achieved a "better standing" in Europe.
Some also argue that the former Santos player has since overtaken Ronaldo as Messi's closest challenger.
