Sri Lanka paceman Shaminda Eranga has been reported for a suspect bowling action after his side's second Test against England.

Match officials cited concerns about the legality of the 29-year-old's action during the nine-wicket loss at Chester-le-Street, with the second Test completed on Monday.

Eranga can continue bowling in international cricket, but is required to undergo testing within 14 days.

He took 0-100 and 0-4 as Sri Lanka were comprehensively beaten to fall 2-0 behind in the three-Test series.

Eranga is a veteran of 18 Tests and has a bowling average of 37.47.
