A Man Lives With A Pair Of Scissors In His Stomach For 9 Years

After a stomach ulcer operation in 2003, Alen Papac suffered agonising pain for nine years after a doctor reportedly forgot a pair of 12cm long surgical scissors in his stomach when he was stitched back up.

Alen is from Bosnia and Herzegovina and recently just got the weapon removed by another medical expert after they found what was the cause of his long-suffering.

In a recent interview with The Daily Star newspaper, Alen explained,

"I suffered from agonising pains in my stomach for years after that i have also had other health problems which i now realise were related to the fact that i had a pair of scissors in my stomach.”

Alec added that his pain got so bad that he returned to the same hospital after nine years and an X-ray was done before the scissors was discovered.
