Osinbajo met the rescued Chibok girls on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari, who is currently in Germany.

Earlier in the day, presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu made it known that the girls will be received by the Vice President.

Shehu had said the girls’ release follows negotiations between the government and the sect which were brokered by the Red Cross and the Swiss government.
