Chelsea Reportedly Ready to Sell Garnacho

Alejandro Garnacho could be on his way out of Chelsea after just one season at Stamford Bridge. The London club signed the Argentine winger on the final day of the summer transfer window, shelling out £40 million for his services. However, the 21-year-old Garnacho has struggled to make a significant impact in his debut campaign. He started 21 matches for Chelsea, scoring eight goals and providing four assists across all competitions. Half of those goals, though, came against lower-league opposition in domestic cup fixtures.

Manager Liam Rosenior has shown limited faith in Garnacho, starting him in the Premier League only four times since his appointment on January 6th. Pedro Neto is the preferred choice on the left wing, and Chelsea also have Jamie Gittens, who is currently recovering from injury. Consequently, the Blues are reportedly open to parting ways with Garnacho, potentially selling him this summer, according to "The Sun."

Reports from Argentina a few days ago indicated that River Plate is interested in acquiring his services.
