Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott is emerging as one of the Premier League's standout young talents this season, and a host of top clubs are expected to vie for the 22-year-old's signature once the campaign concludes. Chelsea is certainly among them, according to The Independent.

Stamford Bridge manager Liam Rossinier is reportedly planning a midfield overhaul this summer. It's highly probable that Enzo Fernandez will be sold. The Argentine was recently dropped from the squad for two matches as a disciplinary measure following his public statement about wanting to live in Madrid.

Should they part ways with the World Cup winner, Chelsea will turn their attention to Alex Scott, who received his first call-up to the England national team by manager Thomas Tuchel in November.

Bournemouth acquired the midfielder from Bristol City for approximately £25 million in 2023. Now, the Cherries are expected to demand double that amount for one of their star players.
