Often times in life we have expectations that do not go as planned. We make extra plans with the hope that we can lend some organization to our lives, amidst the hustle and bustle we find ourselves in. However though things might not go according to plan, we should never lose sight of the bigger picture. Occasionally, we should get back to the drawing board and take stock of our lives. What plans did I make? How far did I go in achieving my plan? Which plans did I shelve? Have I missed anything I'm supposed to be paying attention to? When you ask yourself critical questions, you find that more often than not, you might have lost your way along the line and you can proceed to put things back to the way they ought to be. In all of these things, we should always remember to up our ante. When you set goals that are higher than what you achieved the previous year, you notice growth that would not have happened otherwise.
2012 has come to an end and in a few hours time, we would be celebrating the beginning of a new year. Have you taken stock of the past year? Are you prepared for the new challenges that the comes with the new year? Take stock now, air out your closet, tweak new plans and air out old ones. You never know where that breakthrough may be coming from.
