Bayern Munich beat Arsenal at the Emirate Stadium to complete a 10-2 aggregate score in the second round of the 2016/2017 Champions League.

The two European giants have several times in the last four with the score now 21-9 in the last four years.

It started at the Emirate Stadium in February 19, 2013, as Bayern Munich beat Arsenal 3-1 in the first leg of the second round of that season’s Champions League.

Arsenal won 2-0 in the second leg played in March to make the aggregate score 3-3. Bayern Munich, however, went through courtesy of their away goal.

The next year in February 2014, both clubs met again in the second round of the Champions League with Bayern Munich winning 2-0 in the first leg at the Emirate Stadium. In the second leg, the game ended 1-1.

The next meeting was in October 2015 in the group stage with Arsenal winning the first leg at home 2-0. In the return leg, the then Pep Guardiola’s men ran out 5-1 winners.
