Dance hall singer Shank turns 32

Popular dance-hall artiste Shank, real name Chinedu Naze is a year older today as he turns 32.

The London born artiste studied Creative Arts at the University of Lagos. He became popular when he dropped hit song 'Julie'. Since then her has released other catchy sings King Kong, Ghetto, No Time, Passi Passi.

Shank was discovered by Fela who trained him. He remained is very good friends with the Kuti family and  even spent New Years day with them. He is popular for his monicker Shanksaydat and his catch phrase German sure.

On February 13, 2015 NET reported that Shank, is set to make a full return to the  music scene after being missing in action for about 2 years. He has just signed an exciting new deal with ILL Tune Records that comes with a new apartment in Lagos as well as a brand new car.
