Former Real Madrid coach goes fishing

Former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is still enjoying his sabbatical after leaving his post at the Bernabeu.

The Italian turned down all offers to go on a year-long sabbatical period after he was sacked from Real Madrid.

still not fishing for a new job but he has taken up the pastime during his time away from football.

The 56-year-old former Chelsea and AC Milan manager took to Instagram to post an image of a fish he caught in Vancouver.

"Brilliant fishing day. #salmon #vancouver #fishing," the Italian wrote alongside the photo.

Rafa Benitez has been appointed by Real Madrid after the sacking of Ancelotti.

After winning the UEFA Champions League and Copa del Rey in his first season, Real  Madrid finished trophyless the following year which led to the sacking of Ancelotti.
